In order to keep the Midwest Enzyme Chemistry Conference accessible to as many as possible, and in particular graduate students and post-docs, we do not charge a registration fee (although there is generally a fee for lunch). By taking advantage of low cost venues at the host academic institutions, our costs generally involve logistical support (website, posters, program booklets, etc.), coffee breaks, and a reception during the poster session. We, therefore, depend on the generosity of individuals, companies, and professional organizations for financial support. The MECC is supported by a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization named "Friends of the Midwest Enzyme Chemistry Conference, Inc." Donations made to this entity in support of the MECC are tax-deductible for individuals and corporations.
The box below opens a new window allowing PayPal or credit card donations. (This link also works.) The Friends of the MECC pays a convenience fee of about 3% if you use this service; if you want to maximize your donation, please contact the program chair to find out where to send a check.
